This one is exceptional.
It was fashioned from fine, hand-woven, parasisal straw in a black black . This is the lightest, finest of straws, worthy of respect. It takes an experienced weaver 5 days to made a base so that I can turn it into a hat. This one has an upper circumference of 9.5 " and a brim width of 3. If you want a beautiful, versatile, light-weight, go-everywhere hat, this is it.
This one is plain and simple to let the beauty of the straw shine. A focal point on this hat is a muticolored, silk charmeuse band. It is adjustable . It will help the hat fit more snugly and helps with wind. It will appear large when the hat is off, but needs room to expand on your head. It may be untied and removed.
These hats will arrive flat. To wear, gently pull down onto your head.
Head size on this is 22 -23". Let me know if your head is slightly larger.
