Sometimes things just happen. This was the same material from the same source, handled the same way and somehow it is 1/2 inch larger in diameter than my usual beret. It is a gorgeous hat and if you are looking for something soft and a bit floppy, this is it.
My berets are made of the finest wool material available. The fabric is lush and full. They are patiently hand blocked and partially lined with silk. The lining protects your hair and helps your hair style stay in place.
The circumference of this beret is about 11.5 on the top and about 3.5 rather than 3 on the underside making it really full. This one is larger in the head size as well too. If your head size is 22.5 or less please let me know. I will need to make it smaller for you. I will adjust it at no charge.
