Women continued to wear the cloche in the 1930's but it was a cloche with a slightly different look as it was often turned back away from the face.
This camel hat is my interpretation of that 1930s cloche. The felt is made of 100% merino wool. The crown was shaped on a wooden hat block. The brim is hand draped and remains soft - without a wire or other support. The trim is a repurposed, man's silk tie in a multi-colored paisley print and a vintage button in the style of the era.
Wear it with your best coat or a sweater and jeans.
This hat is a size 22.5. I.
