This is not only a handmade hat, the fabric is also handmade of upcycled cotton dressmaker scraps. ( there is a little rayon in it too)
Shades of yellow, gold, orange, mossy green, burgundy and brown were pieced in strips and then cut into this mad hatter shape.
The hat has a high crown (4" in height") The brim is wide - 4" from base to edge and stitched with contrasting thread. The brim is flexible and can be worn up or down. The fabric is interfaced to give it body. The hat is fully lined.
All of the 100% cotton fabrics have been prewashed and the hat could be hand washed if needed, although dry cleaning is preferable.
The head size on this one is 22-22.5. There is a cotton tie attached for the smaller head size. Measure your head before you buy to be sure your new hat will fit.
