Fashioned from fine, hand-woven, parasisal straw this hat is suitable for a wedding, whether is is a guest, bridesmaid, mother or the bride herself. The straw is a silver gray. The trim is of pale pink organza roses with tiny pearl centers. The lighweight straw is so comfortable to wear you may forget that you are wearing a hat.
The Parasisal straw is hand woven in Asia and takes an experienced weaver 5-7 days to make. I take their product, which looks like a bucket that you could never wear, and shape it into what you see in these photos.
This traveler measures approximately 9 inches across the crown with an approximate 3 Inch brim. It is just right for spring, summer and in some places fall as well. This hat will not collapse totally flat because of the flowers. Minimum height is approximately 3 inches.
Also included is a narrow, pink ribbon that you can use to adjust the size or remove as you wish.
This straw hat should not be worn in the rain.
Head size on this is 22 -23" and adjustable because of the exterior ribbon, but to insure a great fit, please comfirm your head size measurement before you order.
