This is a folding hat . It is a versatile and light weight.. You can slip it in your suitcase or your carry on. It is cool on a hot summer day. Perfect for a destination wedding.
The color is a soft red or rose, just right for spring and summer. This hat has two fold rather that one which gives it extra height. It also sits a little higher on the head. There is decorative stitching around the edgeof this hat and matching stitching on the narrow, silk tie. This tie can be used to adjust the size or remove as you wish.
The parasisal straw is hand woven in Asia and takes an experienced weaver 5-7 days to make. I take their product, which looks like a bucket that you could never wear, and shape it into what you see in these photos.
