This is a hand woven Panama straw from Ecuador. I blocked (shaped), sized and trimmed it so it will enhance you , a fabulous woman.
The color is a warm , tomato red. Brim width is 4.5". Trim is a camel - color grosgrain millinery ribbon accented with vintage cherries - probably from the late 1940's. This Panama straw hat makes a classy statement.
Panamas are woven to an average head size and do not stretch much during blocking so it is hard to make them larger. This one will fit up to a 22.75" head size. If your head measures 23" and you don't have a lot of hair, it might work for you.
Please send me your exact head measurement - around your forehead, above your ears - I will need to add ribbon if your head is smaller than 22.50. There is no charge for this service.
