This a versatile, lightweight, beautiful-on-you, parasisal straw travel hat.
The straw is hand woven in Asia . It is to be treasured as it takes an experienced weaver 5-7 days to weave the base. Once I have it, I shape it into the style that you see here.
Brim width on this one is 3.5". Crown diameter is 9.5".
The hat folds flat and be slipped into your carry-on or your suitcase.
This one is a taupe-brown. It is finished with a gold-toned hat pin that can be removed ( you can remove any creases in the straw by laying it flat and steaming lightly with an iron - use a press cloth). There is also a narrow tie made of navy and brown silk to use or not use depending on your head size and your comfort. It is tied with a slip knot and is easily adjustable.
